The last meeting of the ECTRI Thematic Group (TG) Traffic Management took place on 4-5 October 2017. The ERA Chair Holder, Tatiana Kováčiková, who represents UNIZA in the Group, presented the H2020 project MoTiV – “Mobility and Time Value”, its main goals, partners and methodology to be taken.

Fraunhofer IVI reported on their recent activities in the field of automated/connected driving. DeustoTech presented the TIMON Project on enhanced real-time services for optimised multimodal mobility relying on cooperative networks and open data. The members’ presentations were followed by the discussion and update on the scope of the TG, which is now available on the ECTRI website.

It was also decided to create an updated version of the TG the position paper regarding FP9 in the research areas within the scope of the TG, i.e. Traffic modeling, Traffic control, Communication and positioning technologies, and Cooperative systems.
