Martyna Fidler is a researcher at the University of Žilina, working within the ERAdiate+ Department. She holds an MSc in behavioural economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a PhD in mathematical modelling from the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds. Her work bridges behavioural science, immersive technologies and data science, with a focus on understanding human perception and decision-making in transport and mobility systems.
Before joining the University of Žilina, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at BOKU University in Vienna, where she developed and led a virtual reality laboratory and conducted research using immersive technologies, brain imaging and physiological data. She also contributed to the Transport Data Science course at the University of Leeds, where she taught R programming and data visualisation to postgraduate students. Martyna’s research aims to integrate cognitive insights and data science to promote human-centred, sustainable mobility solutions.
