The University of Zilina, through ERAdiate, is member of the European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA), the Association for Transport Telematics (Czech and Slovak ITS & Services) and the Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA).

ITS&S is an association founded in 2000 that represents more than 70 companies, institutions and universities from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, dealing with the use of information, communication technologies and services in the transport sector (ITS) and other utilities. The main goal of ITS&S is to achieve fast development of transport telematics in the field of roads, railway, waterway and air transport by providing technical, economic and ecologic benefits to a society and also to association members.

Founded in 2002, EARPA is the association of automotive R&D organisations. It brings together the most prominent independent R&D providers in the automotive sector throughout Europe, from large and small commercial organisations to national institutes and universities. EARPA is the platform of automotive researchers and is actively contributing to the European Research Area and the future EU RTD funding programmes.

In January 2021, UNIZA, through ERAdiate+, became a member of the Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA). UERA is bringing together the research performing organisations and aims to strengthen, expand and optimise coordination activities and research planning in Europe in order to avoid fragmentation and optimise resources in the field of urban research and innovation capabilities. UERA is one of the key initiatives of JPI Urban Europe. Currently UERA brings together 53 European research organisations from 18 different countries. We are creating a community of researchers, professors, and PhD students. Together this community will be able to conduct work which will advance scientific excellence in the field of urban research. This community is bound by research which uses approaches that are integrated, systemic, environmental, and socio-economical in their consideration.

ERAdiate is also an active contributor to international ITS standards discussed and released by the European Committee for Standardization Technical Committee 278 (CEN/TC 278).  Prof. Kovacikova contributes to WG17 “Urban ITS”.

In August 2021 UNIZA became a member of UITP
