Our team member Martyna Fidler, representing UNIZA, took part in the EMERGE-EU 2.0 study visit in Brussels, a networking event for emerging researchers working across AI and health. The programme was hosted at key locations including the Bulgarian Permanent Representation to the EU, NCBR and included an institutional visit to the FARI Institute.
The event offered an excellent opportunity to learn more about EU research priorities and Horizon Europe funding opportunities, including ERC, COST and EIC Pathfinder schemes. It also provided valuable space for networking with experts in AI, health, policy and funding, supporting new ideas and potential future collaborations.
Although health is not the main research domain of the team, the visit was particularly useful for exploring how AI research can connect with health-related challenges and methods as well as future proposal development.
Many thanks to the organisers for this valuable opportunity: #SLORD, #CVTISR #NCBR #PolSCA #BulgarianLiaisonOfficeforResearch and #FARI – AI for the Common Good Institute.
