The Tour de ERA is an activity of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI) of the Slovak Republic, initiated by the national project SK4ERA. It consists of 5 two-day events in 5 Slovak cities – Žilina, Banská Bystrica, Košice, Nitra, Bratislava. Horizon 2020 themes are tailored to the long-term thematic profile of each city. In Žilina, it is intelligent, ecological and integrated transport; in Banska Bystrica, Europe is in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective societies, science with society and for society; in Kosice, nanotechnology, advanced materials, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing processes, broadening participation and spreading excellence; in Nitra food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime research and research in inland waters and bio-economy, widening participation and promoting excellence; and in Bratislava, safe, clean and efficient energy, innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises, climate action, the environment, resource efficiency and raw materials.
